What's with the name?

What made me make this my blog title?

I have used several titles for my blog, but none of them are original. For example I got my blog title for my plurk and multiply account "the more you twist the tighter the trap" from an american teen drama series. Now the time has finally arrived that i should change that.

It must be fate that brought me to use this current blog title of mine. HAHA

Originally, I planned to use the title of my theology project "The Confessions of a Shiekha" that I saw it when I was searching for some stuffs in my Mom's china cabinet (why was that there??). So, I researched about the background of my 'supposed-to-be' title before putting it in my setting.

WT?! the word "shiekha" doesn't suit me. It 's an arabic term that means shiekh's wife; old woman; matron.

NO.NO.NO.

What I need is an eye-catching title but at the same time it should be something that fits my personality.

That's when I remembered my High School years, the prom nights.

YES. Nights.

On the two JS Prom that I've attended (Junior and Senior year), I wore a tiara and ball gown. Hence, my close friends would always associate me to princess and princessy stuff. This princessy dream went on until my 18th Birthday, with the same princessy get-up. HAHA  (It must be my one Mom's frustration)

The Confessions of a Princess? Hmmm not enough....it needs more...AHA! *ting*

Why not the arab term for princess? So I typed in the google search bar "Arabic term for princess" *click*

Ameera \a-mee-ra\ as a girl's name is a variant of Amira (Arabic, Hebrew), and the meaning of Ameera is "princess; treetop, proverb, or sheaf of corn".

The Confessions of an Ameera. I think that's good enough for now. It took me several hours just to think about the blog title for this site.

Hmmm maybe I'll change it again in the not-so-near-yet future.
